EWEMANITY
A downloadable game for Windows
Play as manager of the Australasian Mutalab, working for Mutaries Biotechonologies. Drop mutagen on unsuspecting civilians, watch them turn and chase down other people to infect them with a bite!
- Upgrade your mutagen to be the best it can be!
- Relish watching entire cities become soft and woolly!
- Unique dialogue from Dr. Calley himself for each different level!
- Pat the sheep!
Game was made for the Transformation Game Jam 2025, using both art I made during it, and art and music I made or sourced prior to starting the project. Thank you to all the volunteers I had send me bleats to include in the game! I wasn't able to get the censorship angle I planned to for time reasons, but that might make it in the future.
This is still an early demo, there are some other features and QoL things I want to add.
- More mutagen upgrades, including single purchases
- Special/unique sheep
- Better lockdown mechanics
- Puzzles
- Additional tier of enemy
- Unlockable story elements
- More maps and things to do in them
- More civilian types/sprites
Let me know what you think and if you have any thoughts or suggestions. :)

This game is super fun! Do you have a patreon?
I will literally subscribe to a patron if you plan on updating this game!
is it supposed to be windowed
In my messing around with playing the game, i found a easter egg that i have heard nobody else talk about if you buy a upgrade and your dna after upgrade is 69 you will get a nice voiceline! This suprised me i tought it was something else first but nope it is in the game!
Mutasheep delivering peak as always
Game is really fun, I loved playing games like Infectonator as a kid :) All the sheep sounds and dialogue are absolutely amazing
Being able to drop multiple (maybe smaller for balancing) vials of mutagen would definitely spice up gameplay to be able to attack from multiple directions. The speed bonus from petting sheep is not very noticeable and most of the time seems not worth it due to how long they stand still.
The artwork and animations are fantastic too btw, the eyes changing color is a really nice touch.
Great work :3
I thought this game was great.
If you're looking for suggestions. More upgrades.
Maybe some sort of sheep swimming for water levels.
Sheep static, where there's a slim chance to infect near a sheep when they pass someone they choose to target.
Some sort of sabotage mechanism, like longer lockdown times, and incompetent police. Or some sort of media sabotage where non-defence people will willingly run into the sheep as they've been brainwashed by mass media.
Some sort of defence that is static, and isn't people, like aturrett or barricade or fences.
Maybe different types of sheep that come from different types of units, like a bizerker sheep, that gets more speed and HP when petted, or a aware or obsessive sheep, that follows you cursor to any person you click on. Or a healing sheep that goes around waking tasered sheep up.
Maybe there could be a scientist defence that will attempt to kidnap and "cure" a sheep, and requires multiple bites to get through its hazmat. A body armour police officer who again requires multiple bites, but has a melee.
A upgrade for multiple mutagen drops is definitely something that might be needed for bigger stages. Also, some sort of zoom in and out. I think the area upgrade needs to be split into area and lingering.
Also, I noticed a little bug where the army guys are often not affected by the mutagen splash, unlike the police and the general public.
That last part is not a bug, army are immune to mutagen spills it is explained in some end level dialogues and can only be converted by bites!
Hotfixed, missing Sydney text should be there now, and missing Auckland map has been added.
I see the new map but after completing Sydney the text box still appears to be empty.
Sydney text still missing and even worse, now when loading game you also get chance of empty dialogue box!
Just wanted to report it! The new level did work tough!
edit: the second to last level perfection dialogue is actually something you would think the last level would have, so mayhaps i think what might happened is did you bugfix the sydney dialogue first? Then add in the new level, cause it might be the dialogue for levels is not correct cause of the new level. Not sure but that would be my theory on why it still is borked!
I'm not sure why, but when I deleted the old game and re-downloaded the hotfixed build, I did not see a new level, or any text on beating Sydney.
Really, really loved it! So far, my favourite jam game for sure. I had a good time with it and got a little obsessed with 100%-ing it haha. If this is a demo, I am very excited to see you develop it further!
More mutagen upgrades and special sheep would be excellent additions. Some kind of active, limited-use abilities could also be a good thing to add. Currently you can kind of get screwed over if your sheep all lock on to one person or get stuck in an odd spot, or some human wanders to the very corner of the map, so active abilities to exert some control over sheep or just tag a problematic human with a dart gun or whatever would help alleviate that a lot.
Puzzles would be good too, and a better way of adding difficulty or interest to later maps than just adding tons of enemies. Having more controllable entities via active abilities would also provide you with a lot more design space to do that sort of thing as well.
I'd like to be able to play levels I 100%'d, but I see lots of people have given that feedback already.
I really, really enjoy the presentation here, even limited in scope as it is. The transformation animation is great, and I never got tired of watching it, although as a stretch goal, having 2 or 3 that play randomly would go a long way I think. The text that shows above people's heads in response to transforming or seeing others transformed was by far my favourite part of the presentation, I really got a kick out of it. The little details in the animation, like their eyes flickering between white and green as they give in to the TF, were also excellent.
Long comment, I know, but just had to say how much I LOVED this. I wish you the best of luck expanding it, because I would be thrilled to see more of it with a broader scope! :)
Great game, thank you a lot for making this! I cannot wait to see the secret hyena Easter egg, or actually just ewes!
I already left you comments elsewhere, just impatient to see more updates if you plan to c:
I've played this game for about an hour yesterday and I think you already did a good job! This is not a game where you need to be 100% concentrated all the time, which is good because I can watch a video besides playing this game.
Everything I'd need to "critizise" has already been mentioned, so I'm just gonna summarize:
There is still a lot of potential in this game, meaning you can include way more mechanics like variations of sheep, more upgrades, ways to move/zoom around the map, better collecting of dna and more variations of the maps.
I also like the sound design and little texts above the mutating people, the animations and little texts our "boss" tells us. You really put some effort in there and I can feel that!
Nice game, I'd love to see more from you in the future!
Yep, I had some plans and sprites for sheep variants, I just didn't have time to get them in. You can move around the map with WASD, but no zooming yet. I would like to also add a magnet upgrade, yeah.
Nice!
Can you also tell us where the game is saving it's progress?
After playing through this game 3 times, I wanna tinker a bit around.
I also want to sync the progress with my other pc with syncthing!
Should be in your User folder in AppData -
%APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\EWEMANITYHey thanks mutasheep when i found the save i found turning the superclocked back to false makes you able to replay levels!
i can't seem to finish wellington even tf every one into sheep and it still does not count.
for some ideas i would like more animals to transform into like kangaroo's. and maybe just lengthen the timer a bit it feels to fast. and more bottles to throw if you miss clicked or as a upgrade. and the sheep ai is sometimes wird all running after the same npc and skipping ones they run past. but i would love to see more maps and animals to tf into.
oh and maybe a android port.
A thought for slight easing of difficulty, an upgrade or similar to make sheep not all go after the same person, since it can make it very random if you'll 100% a stage or not if you can't make you sheep spread out proper.
Yeah, that is planned - having a reservation system so sheep can target other people via an upgrade will be handy. Also, patting sheep forces them to re-target to the closest person again, so that can be useful to break up groups if they have developed tunnel vision.
Incredibly fun and addictive premise!
Excellent work on the sprites for each transformation, and loved the fact that each character has dialog bits reacting to their changes and to other's changes.
Might be fun to potentially see an intermediate stage of transformation between human and sheep,(Weresheep maybe?) that's got some slightly different stats compared to the fully transformed sheep.
Looking forward to more of this!
I 100% the game a second time...
Honestly my rating of 8.5 stands it has super nice gameplay like infectonator and the tf is nice to tf all the peeps into sheep
The pats do help boost the sheepi noticed! But just once to motivate them
The main things i would want to see in update is still
1) a way to replay levels even if you 100% them still think it would be best if you 100% the game that they all open up again, for replay or freeplay, so you can keep building up.
2) picking up mutagen via hover instead of click with upgrade for hover size
3) upgrades that make clicks have a low % chance to wake up a sleeping sheep or a demotivated one!
4) a small overhaul in difficulty so that earlier levels are not harder then later ones. But you already are planning on that!
Overall again super good game, and i put the list in this order cause it is what i would want to see most in a update after completing it a second time i want to play more but don't want to start all over again... I want to replay the levels and see how crazy i can get with the area increase as example can i at some point... get the area so big it envelops whole last level?
Or build up super speed sheep to see them traverse map in 0.5 seconds :P
An awesome game! I really enjoyed playing it!
A couple minor quality of life improvements I'd like to suggest on top of what's already been mentioned is the ability to pan the camera with right click, and zoom with the scroll wheel. It'd make the movement much smoother and snappier being able to zoom out to move across the map quickly and then zooming back in to watch the chaos unfold!
Love the inspiration from "Infectinator: World Dominator". The change of theme is very welcome. The little sheep are so adorable. I love the detail in the character animations and pixel art. Very well done! Managed to 100% every level, and the only critiques I have are as follows:
- Snowballing in late game. (Upgrades used to achieve more difficult completions in the early game led to me insta-completing the later levels.)
- Lack of upgrade and Enemy/Challenge Variety does lend to the gameplay feeling a tad repetitive in late-game.
- Missing completion dialogue in late game. (Might be a bug?)
- No way to replay levels or free-play on your save after reaching 100% in each level.
I really enjoyed the experience and would love to see more of your work in the future. :) Thank you.
the snowballing seems to happen cause late stages have longer timer, which is fair cause bigger maps, but the difficulty scaling is off, like it was harder to 100% earlier levels then some of the later ones!
I found a small rounding error in one of the levels when trying for 100% completion. (the one with 10 people)
Otherwise, a very solid game. I love the mechanics involved!
Overall I really enjoyed this game! though I do think a few changes would help. I think some kind of visual for the serums radius would be fantastic, as I was just kind of eyeballing it and felt like I could or should have been able to hit more people with that initial splash.
excited to see more from this, and to see how it develops!
I completed the whole demo (boy, Wellington took a lot of tries to 100%!)! Hee, this is all really neat. I definitely hope you do more work on it!
I don't know what to think about the idea of speeding up the TF process itself; it'd make things easier in game terms, obviously, but a slower change is more fun. I was thinking that maybe the last victims wouldn't have to completely finish transforming in order to avert lockdown (but they'd still have to have started changing, not just be infected). Humm, maybe there could be a one-time upgrade of some kind that made victims "count" towards final completion at the beginning, not the end, of their changes. Am just spitballing though!
Maybe there could be "toggleable" upgrades that you can shut on and off at will before starting a level (but not during a level, I think that would be a little too silly and invite excessive micromanagement). These would be upgrades with a combination of negatives and positives. For example, an upgrade that slows down the TF process even more in exchange for sheep that are boosted somehow!
I noticed that petting a sheep too frequently has no further positive benefit, but the "pet buff" seems to wear off eventually. Maybe when a sheep is under the effects of the pet buff, a teeny tiny heart could linger just above them, to show that they don't yet need more petting? Right now, petting and timing one's petting right is a major part of the game, so it would really help to be able to see when the buff runs out.
I noticed that eventually, increasing "Incubation" seems to have little or no effect. I don't know the mathematics of how this stat works, but it seems like maybe allowing it to "max out" at a certain value could be a good idea. Maybe!
The description of the "Drive" upgrade confused me a little at first. Humm. Maybe I should come up with an alternate description idea, one that's hopefully clearer or at least more obvious at first blush. I dunno if you'd welcome that kind of contribution, though!
Finally, I got a bit silly and came up with some ideas for additional TFing victim shouts, and I figured I'd share them; why not, right? :O
And because I couldn't help myself, here's some ideas for one-time upgrades I threw together!
Irreversible Mutation: the mutagen is now so powerful and concentrated that the resulting transformation is truly permanent and impossible to undo by any means. The governments of the world will keep the general populace in the dark about this development (to avoid mass panic), but word will inevitably get out among first responders, striking terror into their hearts. Lockdowns will now take slightly longer, and military and police will fire their weapons slower.
[Sort of a boring game effect but true permanence is always fun!]
Photogenics: thanks to mutadynamic genetic tweaking, the process of transformation from a boring human into a stinky cute sheep is more dramatic and visceral than ever. Flesh will ripple, muscles will bulge and pulse, bones will crack noisily, and throats will emit astonishing cries and bleats. Bystanders will now sometimes approach transforming victims instead of fleeing. They will gawk and record the spectacle; if there is mutagen still on the ground, they will likely come into contact with it and become part of the show. This upgrade won't stop people from fleeing from aggressive sheep, however.
[This would take extra effort to code in the textual and maybe visual reactions of onlookers, but it seems like a fun idea! Well, I thought so, anyway. I'm biased though.]
Ovine Appeal: with the application of advanced proteomics, sheep are now even more adorable and endearing. Their fluffy, fleecy wool is so bountiful and soft that they look like happy little clouds, and their big dumb eyes, devoid of intelligence or apparent malice, are wide and soulful. They couldn't possibly be THAT dangerous, could they? Humans now flee from sheep at slightly slower speeds, and don't run as far before stopping.
Whew, okay, that should be all. Sorry for the super long comment!
I completed the game, and I had a handful of ideas that I thought I'd share :)
- A serum upgrade the makes the splash from the serum last longer?
- An upgrade the makes the TF itself faster?
- Maybe an upgrade that creates a small chance for a person to TF in special sheep, or maybe a new type of serum?
- A dart gun that only targets one person, but allows multiple shots?
- Some way to slow/delay the lockdown timer, like sabotage or some in-game interaction?
- A funny interaction where there's a chance that you get bit by a sheep when patting, and turns your cursor into a hoof?
- Some others mentioned a click & hold or mouse hover for collecting DNA rather than clicking each one. I think that would be good QOL.
Anyway, the formula for this game is a lot of fun, some TLC could really make this a gem. I'm excited to see where you take it!
The game displays overly large on my screen by quite a bit (is 1366x768 just too small? it's the highest resolution I can access)
Some parts of the UI break at any resolution other than exactly 1920x1080 (my monitor was too high res, personally) in the current version.
You might be able to use DSR (Nvidia GPU) or VSR (AMD GPU) in your GPU driver settings to trick your computer into letting you render at a higher resolution than you can actually display in the meantime?
I was able to connect an external monitor and play that way.I stalled out at Christchurch - are you supposed to be able to move the grid in the levels or is it intended to be fixed?
Hmm, I'm not fully certain I know what you mean, but you can move the camera's view with W, A, S, and D if that's what you're asking about!
Idea for special/unique sheep would be a heavy one who can take more hits from taser
uhhh, is this intentional for com
pleting the last level? it doesn't seem intentional...
Your performance has left him speechless (no it's not intentional, oopsie)
Completed the game, some things i would love to see.
Overal completion tracker to look at how close you are to overal completing the game
if you 100% all locations they all open up again for replay like a sandbox, so you can keep on replaying levels as a reward of sorts for 100% the game!
Dialogue fix suggestion: The missed dialogue seems to come from 100% a level from the start so, i want the dialogue box to have pages where if you 100% a level first time playing it first page is the explenation for where you go then the other pages are the dialogues you would get for performance in level. So you don't miss any able to see any.
an other option all together is a extra button below the level when completing it 100% that is show all dialoge boxes for this level. That way you don't need pages! So there is multiple ways to fix it.
Additional upgrades that makes patting sheep helpfull
For the moment if you pat a sheep either by misclicking while trying to pix up genes, or after 100%ing a level it is either neutral or unhelpfull cause a pat sheep does not chase it stands still for a second thus meaning a misclick might mean missing out on 100%
So the two additional upgrades i want is morning pats. where every upgrade means you get a additional x% of waking up a sleeping sheep.
And the encouragment pats. Where it is if a sheep loses their drive giving it a pat gives a x% of getting their drive back from the encouragement! (you could also put them together if you really want to)
but it would give you a reason to click the sheep
actually while typing this out i got another idea
i don't want to click the mutagens, so a mouse hover up for mutagen area would be nice instead of having to click them, so you can with that upgrade more easily pick them up!
All by all a verry good game!
i would rate it a 8.5/10
Music has a nice beat to it. very rhythmic. so many happy little sheep, tails wagging, grazing, making heard as they chase tall unfluffy humans on some jucy grass...bite humans... fluffy...head fluffy
A really fun TF game. Having 100% sheeped every existing map, a piece of feedback and a possible bug.
Feedback: Regardless of the backend timer, the on-screen timer shouldn't start until after the initial group finishes their transformation into sheep and starts chasing other humans; this is a small UX change that makes the player feel less like they're having time "wasted" as the initial TF happens.
Possible Bug: It appears dialogue for a mission failure plays if you 100% Sheep a city on your first attempt. Additionally, when I got 100% on the final level on my first attempt, the dialogue was completely blank.
Again, excellent work and I look forward to future updates and polish.
Thanks! I'll look into those issues. Glad ewe enjoyed :)
Just started your game. Love your stuff and I love this too. I have few nitpicks as they do not really impact the game play too much.
1) When I was typing name for my profile I hit Enter key to accept but that just creates new line.
2) I have a high resolution monitor and during mission select all locations ended up in the ocean :)
Great work! As a big fan of the original Infectonator, I was in love with this. Sprites and animations were excellent, and seeing big hordes of sheep bear down on the poor soon-to-be-TFed humans was very satisfying.
My constructive criticisms are:
- Some of the later levels started to get VERY laggy.
- Australia levels didn't seem to get particularly more challenging, aside from taking longer from start to finish.
- Missing dialogues - in particular I didn't get a dialogue after aborting the Wellington level, or after finishing the Sydney level (not 100%).
- Missing a 100% because a TF animation took too long could feel a little frustrating.
Thanks for the feedback!
Yes, I will agree with you there-
- The lag is an issue I noticed, it may be something to do with the amount of DNA drops combined with the pathfinding.
- Later levels I will probably have the difficulty come from the puzzles rather than area or sheer number of people, due to the lag issues that might arise. That might look like special maps with no civilians and all military, different objectives, special tiles, or other map conditions.
- I'll look into the missing dialogue, other people have noted this as well.
- I also want to rework the lockdown mechanics, but I'll also have an upgrade that speeds up the TF.
Again, thank ewe!
This game is really fun! I did find that there is a tile below the map on canberra preventing 100% completion. The sheeple can't reach them for the clear
I did hotfix that not long ago, if you use the new version, it should pick up your save.
word i'll download that!
Black Sheep 2 came out early?! Based!
"pat the sheep"
SOLD!
I am now a good sheep waiting to have my wool cute bwaaa!
